Pristina, capital of Kosovo – the youngest and poorest European state. Mark works in the sprawling city as a foreign expert. On a night at the bar he meets three local girls: Besa, her girlfriend Hana and Shpresa.
Mark is irresistibly attracted by Shpresa’s extreme passion, but the following romance is soon shattered in pieces. Her mood swings from passionate love to absolute hate in a matter of seconds.  As Mark wants to understand what triggers Shpresa’s behaviour, she slowly shifts away.
In the meantime Hana is facing the pressure of her family. She is struggling between her love for Besa and fear of the social earthquake coming out as a lesbian would provoke in a conservative and patriarchal society.

»A Dream« is a love story between the two worlds that cannot function together, it is a love story between Europe and Kosovo, between the West and the Balkans.
